The Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 1400 is an all-electric drag racer boasting over 1400 horsepower at the wheels. Unveiled at the 2020 Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival, this pioneering project by Ford Performance and McCue Lane Electric Race Cars marks a major step in electric drag racing. Using four 170kw electric motors, the Cobra Jet achieves a best quarter-mile time of 8.308 seconds at 167.93 MPH, setting a new National Electric Drag Racing Association record.
