2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost by Brad Gusler
Brad Gusler's 2015 EcoBoost Mustang, built by BG Racing, is a record-setting drag car that showcases the potential of Ford's 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. It features a Stage 2 Custom Performance Engineering-built shortblock, Manley Performance connecting rods and pistons, and a precision 62 mm turbo system. The engine modifications extend to a completely ported cylinder head by Headgames Motorworks and a custom camshaft and spring package developed by Mountune. Despite using the factory Ford composite intake manifold, the Mustang achieves 9-second quarter-mile times. Additional modifications include dual-caliper Aerospace Components brakes, Circle D Transmissions-built 6R80 transmission, and various carbon-fiber components by Anderson Composites for weight reduction.
