870hp Supercharged LS3-Powered 1949 Willys Pickup
RJ Fabrication’s 1949 Willys Pickup, showcased at SEMA 2024, is a masterpiece of off-road engineering and luxury. With 9,000 hours of labor, the pickup features an extended cab using parts from a Willys wagon and is finished in a one-off candy color by Sylvester's Customs. It rides on a chrome-moly tube chassis with 22 inches of front wheel travel and 30 inches at the rear. Powered by a 427ci LS3 engine topped with a 2.9L Whipple supercharger, it produces 870 hp and 930 ft/lbs of torque. Noteworthy features include a 4L80E transmission with paddle shifters, modern interior luxuries, and a robust cooling system. The build includes custom aluminum bedside panels, a CAN bus system, and extensive Cerakote work, demonstrating the high level of detail and innovative engineering.
