47-Liter BMW V12-Powered Brutus Custom Car
Brutus is a vintage custom car, built on a 1907-1908 American fire truck chassis with a massive 47-liter BMW V12 aircraft engine. Developed by German enthusiasts in the late 1990s, the car features a 178-inch wheelbase and a steel body, reminiscent of early 20th-century racers. Its V12 engine produces 550 to 750 hp, consuming fuel at a rate of 1 liter/km, and drives through a three-gear chain transmission. Known for its lack of front brakes and minimal safety features, Brutus has reached speeds over 124 mph. It gained fame through a Top Gear segment.
