This unique Belly Tank Lakester was crafted for a 2004 episode of Discovery Channel’s Monster Garage by Jesse James and his team. It's built using a 600-gallon centerline drop tank from an F-4 Phantom jet for its body. The vehicle features a supercharged 400ci Chevrolet V8 engine, paired with a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Notable additions include a Littlefield blower, dual Edelbrock carburetors, and a Frankland quick-change rear end. The lakester has polished aluminum bodywork, distinctive West Coast Choppers graphics, and red pinstriping. This car, offered for off-road use only, is equipped with Weld Racing wheels and is set up for straight-line performance with no rear suspension.
