This 1984 Dirtrix DT2 off-road race car, powered by a 2.8-liter Porsche flat-four engine, was built by Dirtrix in Phoenix, Arizona. Initially equipped with a Mazda rotary engine, the car now features upgrades such as dual Weber carburetors, a Patterson dry-sump lubrication system, and an MSD ignition system. Key components include a tube-frame chassis, quad Fox Racing coilovers, Summers Brothers hubs, and Foddrill Motorsports trailing arms. The car has competed successfully in Class 2 SCORE events and claimed class victories in the 2021 and 2022 Mint 400. It features a vibrant red, blue, and yellow livery over white powder-coated aluminum panels and rides on 15" wheels with Desert Storm MRT tires.
