Volvo Amazon Wagon on BMW E30 Chassis
Adam Nonis transformed a 1966 Volvo 122 Amazon wagon by placing its body on a BMW E30 chassis. This unique build houses an M20B25 straight-six engine and features performance upgrades such as an upgraded Motronic 1.3 ECU, custom aluminum exhaust, and Wilwood four-piston calipers. The Volvo's exterior remains true to its roots with a period-correct dark blue paint, while interior and body modifications include hand-laid carbon fiber accents. The suspension utilizes shortened VW Corrado strut housings paired with Tein springs. This one-of-a-kind project blends classic aesthetics with modern performance, showcasing Adam's ingenuity and craftsmanship.
