BimmBug Pickup: Beetle Meets BMW E46 Wagon
The BimmBug Pickup is a unique fusion combining a Volkswagen New Beetle and a BMW E46 3 Series Touring. Built by Jo Riley of Jo's Fab Lab, this custom project involved using the front section of a New Beetle and merging it with the chassis of a BMW E46, creating a one-of-a-kind pickup. The build features a Porsche Cayman front bumper, Ford F-150 taillights, and a Peugeot 206 panoramic roof. Inside, it houses Recaro bucket seats and a Golf R steering wheel, with the E46's dash and center console. Initially sporting air suspension, it now rides on aftermarket coilovers and 19-inch wheels, painted in white with fan messages scribbled all over. Despite an accident, it continues to serve as a daily-driven workhorse.
