LS1-Powered 1975 Chevy Luv with Custom Suspension
Dane Howell's 1975 Chevy Luv, featured at the 2021 LS Fest, showcases his passion for mini-trucks. He transformed his daily driver by installing a mostly stock LS1 engine and a Turbo 400 transmission. To enhance performance, Dane created custom lower control arms and incorporated QA1 coilovers with Wilwood brake components. The truck rides on C5 Corvette wheels, and its modifications also include a Ford 8.8 rear axle and custom flares. The build highlights innovation in swapping and fabricating parts to maintain the essence of the mini-truck while integrating modern power.
