550hp LS-Powered 1970 VW Bus
Clayton Hollingsworth transformed his 1970 Volkswagen Transporter into a unique rat rod with a powerful 383 cubic-inch LS V8 engine. Featuring Eagle crankshaft and connecting rods, AFR cylinder heads, and an ATM carburetor, the engine produces around 550 horsepower. The bus includes a custom-fabricated four-link suspension with QA1 coilovers and a distinctive exterior with stitches on the welded panels and bullhorns from a flea market. A two-speed Powerglide transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end complete the drag racing-friendly setup.
