George Barris-Designed 1968 Pontiac Firebird 'Superteen'
The 1968 Pontiac Firebird 'Superteen' is a unique creation by renowned customizer George Barris, known for its distinctive modifications. Built for The Sounds of '68 show, it features a shark-like nose, air scoops on the hood and rear fenders, smaller two-piece bumpers, a large rear spoiler, sequential taillights, and Corvette-style side exhaust pipes. Finished in silver metal flake paint with red, white, and blue stripes, it was originally valued at $12,000. One of only three built, the 'Superteen' maintains its numbers-matching 400-cubic-inch V8 engine and original Teal interior.
