Custom Packard Super Eight 'Land Yacht'
This unique 1948 Packard Super Eight 'Land Yacht' was created by Louis Réard, inventor of the bikini, as an advertising vehicle. Built by coachbuilder Henri Chapron, it features yacht-inspired elements like a bow-shaped front, portholes, and a luxurious open rear deck. The vehicle toured European events promoting Réard's swimsuits, making it famous in France during the late 1940s and early 1950s. It features a distinctive soft blue and white maritime color scheme and retains its original elements.
