Mechatronik, based in Pleidelsheim, Germany, masterfully restomods the classic Mercedes-Benz W111 with modern upgrades. This build features a choice between a 302-hp 5.0-liter Mercedes M113 V8 engine and a 362-hp AMG-developed 5.4-liter version, paired with a five-speed 5G-Tronic automatic transmission. The build includes a revamped suspension with KW Automotive shocks, a two-piston caliper brake system from the W126 S-Class, and modern amenities subtly integrated into the original interior design. Each car retains the timeless 1960s design while being upgraded for modern performance and reliability.
