Twin-Turbo LS-Swapped 2006 Mustang Wins LS Fest
Lainey Abney's 2006 Ford Mustang, originally a V6 model, has been transformed into a drag racing powerhouse by her and her father. The Mustang features a 427-inch LS engine with Frankenstein M311 heads, a BTR cam, and two Summit Racing G42 79mm turbochargers, producing over 600 horsepower. Key components include a Holley Mid-Mount Accessory Drive Kit, a Holley EFI High-Ram intake, and a Holley EFI 105mm throttle body. The build showcases a blend of off-the-shelf performance parts and meticulous tuning, resulting in a win at the LS Fest Texas Drag & Drive Power Adder event. This personal project highlights Lainey's transition from dirt bike racing at age 13 to competitive drag racing.
