1968 Ford Mustang Convertible by 68PonyFord
This 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible, originally produced as a C-code model at Ford’s Metuchen, New Jersey facility, has undergone a custom build since 2002. The modifications include a 351ci V8 crate engine, a LenTech-modified four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, and a Truetrac limited-slip differential. It features a Mustang II–style coilover front suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and rack-and-pinion steering. The exterior is refinished in blue, complementing a beige and blue interior with a power-operated white convertible top. Additional upgrades include a Perfect Fit Series air-conditioning system, Ididit tilt steering column, and 16-inch polished five-spoke wheels. The build also includes a MagnaFlow exhaust, and a serpentine-belt system from March Performance. The vehicle is located in Chesterfield, Virginia.
