Backward-Driving 1952 Ford F-1 with Chevy V8
This 1952 Ford F-1, owned by retired IndyCar driver Davey Hamilton, is a custom build that drives backwards. The truck features a Chevrolet small block 350 V8 placed in the bed, covered by a piece of rustic plywood. Hamilton's modifications involved reversing the cab orientation and carving a footwell into the former back of the cabin. A custom aluminum dashboard was crafted by Hamilton's father. Despite its reverse setup, the truck remains road-legal and stable at up to 85 mph.
