This 1979 Ford Bronco underwent a custom build by Mobsteel in Detroit in 2017. Originally featured on the History Channel show Detroit Steel, the Bronco boasts a vibrant Axalta Sunrise Orange paint with woodgrain appliqués. It is equipped with a 460ci V8 engine enhanced with Holley Sniper fuel injection, paired with a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle features a dual-range transfer case, Dana 44 front axle, and a Strange 9″ rear axle with a Detroit Locker differential. Key modifications include a Superflex lift kit, 17″ Raceline beadlock wheels with Mastercraft Courser MXT tires, four-wheel disc brakes, and a dual MagnaFlow exhaust system. The interior includes black leather upholstery with orange plaid inserts, air conditioning, and a custom JL Audio sound system. The truck is noted for its removable hardtop, roll bar, and several added conveniences like a CB radio and Retrosound stereo. Currently offered in Oregon with a clean Michigan title, this Bronco has been a star at both the Hot Wheels Legends Tour and the SEMA show.
