1969 Chevrolet Camaro "Area 51" by Tim McKoy

Built by Tim McKoy, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro known as 'Area 51' stands out with its nitrous-fed 855 cubic-inch engine from Reher-Morrison Racing Engines. The engine features a billet block, Bryant Racing crankshaft, and RMRE billet cylinder heads, complemented by five stages of Speedtech Nitrous. The power is transferred via a Lenco Racing transmission and a Neal Chance lockup torque converter. Built in collaboration with Keith Engling from Skinny Kid Race Cars, the Camaro features a Chromoly Pro Mod/Pro Nitrous chassis and carbon fiber bodywork by Joe Van Overbeek Race Car Bodies. It competes in big-money drag racing events across the country.
