Turbo M50 AWD BMW E30 Drag Car

Raul Cotut built this BMW E30 for drag racing at Repsol Racing in Romania. It features a turbocharged 2.8L M50 inline-six engine producing 1,000 hp, with forged internals, an aftermarket camshaft, and a G42 turbocharger controlled by an Ecumaster ECU. The power is delivered to the ground through four Hoosier slicks via a ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission and a 4WD drivetrain. Raul achieved a quarter-mile time of 8.663 sec at 257.91 km/h.
