Michael Ludick's BMW E30 features a turbocharged 2.0L Mazda FE3 inline-four engine producing 856 hp with 798 Nm of torque. The engine is enhanced with CP pistons, custom rods, a modified crank, and a Vanderlinde Developments solid lifter head. It's equipped with Dirk Lourens turbo camshafts, a custom intake, Deka 2200 cc injectors, and a Precision Gen 2 turbocharger. Power is managed by a FuelTech FT450 ECU and methanol fuel. The setup includes a G-Force GF-5R five-speed transmission and a QuarterMaster twin-plate clutch. A BMW M5 independent rear end with custom axles and Racemaster 28x10.5-inch slicks ensure power delivery to the track.
