BMW 325i E30 Restomod by Pim Vinke
This BMW 325i E30, owned by Pim Vinke, showcases an impressive blend of factory restoration and modern modifications. Originally found in dire condition, the 41-year-old E30 chassis has been transformed into an exemplary restomod. The car retains an original M-Tech II body kit and now sits on 15" BBS RS wheels with Airlift suspension, creating a striking visual impression. Under the hood, the original M20 2.5-liter engine has been modified to a 2.7-liter setup, incorporating parts from other BMW motors such as the ETA crankshaft, 320i connecting rods, and 325i pistons. The engine also features a DBilas intake manifold with individual throttle bodies (ITBs) and a Megasquirt standalone system. The interior includes factory-inspired retrofits such as a Euro-spec M3 center console with electronic damper controls repurposed for engine map settings. This blend of originality and modern performance creates a unique homage to BMW's classic design philosophy accompanied by contemporary enhancements.
