This 1982 Volvo 244, showcased at LS Fest 2022, features a supercharged LS6 engine, enhanced with a new cam and custom tune. Built by David 'Turbo' Dantonio, this unique build includes an air-to-water charge-cooled supercharger originally from a Cadillac XLR-V, mated via a custom-fabricated adapter. It connects to a Tremec TKX five-speed transmission and a Dodge 9.25-inch rear axle. Additional modifications include Cadillac ATS Brembo brakes and comprehensive gauges, delivering both performance and practicality with 17mpg efficiency.
