1963 Pontiac Tempest Pro Street by Riley Customs
Phil Riley of Riley Customs in Martinsville, Indiana, has created a remarkable Pro Street version of a 1963 Pontiac Tempest A/FX car. Starting with a discarded parts car, Phil crafted a unique street machine with an all-Pontiac powertrain. The vehicle features a blown 421 cubic inch Pontiac V8 paired with an 8-71 supercharger, producing an estimated 600 horsepower. The car includes a custom-built Turbo 400 transmission, a modified chassis for an altered wheelbase, and a distinct drag racing stance. Mickey Thompson tires are mounted on Weld Racing wheels, completing the car's aggressive look. With its full Vintage Air A/C system, custom interior, and extensive cooling modifications, it stands as an exquisite piece of hot rodding craftsmanship.
