The 'Polynesian' is a 1950 Oldsmobile Holiday 88 custom built by Neil Emory and Clayton Jensen at Valley Custom Shop for Jack Stewart in 1952. The car features a 4-inch sectioning, re-radiused wheelwells, and tunneled 1947 Studebaker taillights. It is powered by a 303 cu in Oldsmobile engine with 1952 heads and a Rochester carburetor. Finished in Orchid Flame purple, it became famous for its custom design and appeared in numerous automotive magazines.
