1993 Honda Civic CX "Nine Lives" by Mike Jardel
Mike Jardel's 1993 Honda Civic CX hatchback is a labor of love, surviving multiple engine swaps and accidents to become a notable build. Initially equipped with a B16A2 engine swap, Jardel transitioned through turbocharging and naturally aspirated setups before settling on a 96-97 spec JDM Integra Type R B18C engine. The Civic, finished in Frost White, features extensive Spoon Sports parts, including a kevlar plug cover autographed by Spoon Sports' Ichisima-san. Additional mods include Buddy Club coilovers, Volk TE37 wheels, and various JDM interior components. Despite its tumultuous history, this Civic remains a prized possession for Jardel, participating in track events and car shows like Wekfest East.
