1979 GMC Sierra Stepside by oldhotrodder
This 1979 GMC Sierra Stepside has been modified extensively by the seller over a 20-year ownership. It features a powerful 502ci ZZ V8 crate engine paired with a TH400 automatic transmission, and a 12-bolt Positraction rear-end. The exterior is finished in a bright white pearl with blue ghost flames, and modifications include a fiberglass 3″ cowl hood, billet aluminum front grille, and an aluminum diamond-plated bed floor. The truck rides on Centerline 15″ Convo-Pro wheels with staggered Mickey Thompson and BFGoodrich tires. Suspension enhancements include coilovers, Belltech drop spindles, and Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks. The build is complemented by AutoMeter Phantom gauges inside and a range of performance mods including a Holley carburetor, Hooker headers, and Flowmaster exhaust.
