680hp LS7-Powered Ford Ranger Pre-Runner
Darren Parsons transformed a 1993 Ford Ranger into a capable pre-runner, featuring a 680hp naturally-aspirated 427ci LS7 engine. With King shocks and 21 inches of suspension travel at the front and a Camburg Kinetik four-link setup at the rear, the truck excels in off-road performance. The build retains a production-based look with period-correct graphics but packs a robust drivetrain, including a TH400 gearbox and Ford 9-inch-based differential. Parsons has successfully raced this setup, winning races in the SNORE series, and continues to showcase the truck at events like LS Fest.
