Turbocharged Dodge Diplomat Police Car by Dylan McCool
Dylan McCool's 1986 Dodge Diplomat, originally a police car, has been transformed into a turbocharged sleeper. With a low-mile 318ci V8 from a ’92 Dodge Ram fitted with a roller camshaft and valve springs, it's boosted by a GT45-style turbocharger and a Mishimoto intercooler. Running about 10 pounds of boost, the setup delivers an estimated 300 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, managed by a Super Sniper EFI system. The build maintains its police roots with factory suspension and brakes while featuring a distinctive Rust-Oleum paint job, a functional light bar, and a working siren. Debuting at Moparty 2023, the Diplomat has become popular at events and the drag strip alike.
