Devin-Bodied Roadster Race Car

This Devin-bodied roadster, believed to have been initially built in the late 1950s and refurbished in the 1990s, features a red fiberglass body with white number 129 roundels. It is powered by a 331ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a BorgWarner Super T10 four-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9" rear end. The custom-fabricated chassis includes a 1956 Chevrolet front end, AFCO coilovers, power steering, Wilwood brakes, and 15" American Racing wheels. The cockpit is equipped with bucket seats, a roll bar, a fire-suppression system, and a quick-release steering wheel. The car was acquired by the Petersen Museum in 2022 and has competed in vintage racing events, achieving notable victories.
