Twin-Turbo LSX-Powered 1970 Chevy Nova
Brad Thiessen transformed his childhood 1970 Chevrolet Nova into a drag racing machine after years of it being a family hand-me-down. Originally equipped with a six-cylinder engine, it now features a powerful Dart LS NEXT2 cast-iron block with twin Borg Warner S485 turbos. The Nova includes a TH400 transmission, a carbon fiber driveshaft, and a comprehensive safety setup. The exterior retains its original blue lacquer paint, polished to perfection. Making its debut at the World Wide Technology Raceway, the Nova is set for more drag events in pursuit of a seven-second quarter-mile run.
