Turbocharged LS-Powered 1981 Chevy Malibu

Chris Perry's 1981 Malibu was built specifically for the Holley LS Fest East 2024. Starting with a $300 Chevrolet shell, Chris transformed it into a drag car featuring a 4.8-liter LS engine with a 76mm On3 turbocharger and LS6 heads. The car includes a Turbo 400 3-speed transmission and a Moser Ford 9-inch rear end. The suspension is a combination of Summit Racing Equipment and BMR Suspension parts. With a race weight of just 2,800 lbs, Chris is eager to hit the track.
