LS-Swapped El Camino G-Body
Josh Coleman and his team built this LS-swapped El Camino on a budget, utilizing an LS engine from a donor Tahoe. The engine, a Gen-III 4.8L, was upgraded with a Summit Racing Stage 3 low-lift camshaft, LS6 springs, and headers. Adapted to an AR-5 transmission using a Fab Bot Fabrication plate, the car features a 10-bolt rear and S10 front springs with polyurethane bushings. With junkyard steel wheels, it is designed for endurance races like the ChampCar and 24 Hours of Lemons.
