470hp LS2-Powered 1962 Chevrolet Corvette
This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, restored and modernized by Scotty Sheehan, features a 6.0-liter LS2 engine with a BTR cam and Hooker Blackheart headers, producing around 470 hp. Originally purchased by his father in 1973, the car sat in a barn for decades before undergoing a full restoration. It includes a Tremec TKX five-speed manual gearbox, Ford 9-inch rear end, and a QA1 adjustable coilover suspension from Martz Chassis. The Corvette combines its LS power with traditional styling, using C6 ZR1 18-inch wheels and Wilwood disc brakes. The interior remains largely factory. This build debuted at Holley Performance’s headquarters and plans for further upgrades are being considered by the father-son team.
