Restomodded 1968 Chevy Chevelle Heirloom
This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle, affectionately known as 'Red,' is a cherished family heirloom revitalized with modern performance enhancements. Originally purchased new by Tom McKinney, the car was later restored with the help of Kaleb Kelley at Classic Car Liquidators. The build features a refreshed 396-cubic inch Chevy big-block engine, Hedman headers, HyperSpark ignition, and a Sniper EFI system. Suspension and stopping power are improved with a Ridetech system and Wilwood big brake kit. The exterior maintains a vintage appearance with new two-tone paintwork, a vinyl top, and period-correct trim, while the interior gains modern comforts like Dakota Digital gauges and Vintage Air AC system. The restoration serves as a tribute to Tom and continues to create lasting memories for the McKinney family.
