1966 Chevrolet C10 "Heaven Bound" by Yancey Taylor

Yancey Taylor's 1966 Chevrolet C10, affectionately named "Heaven Bound," is a standout show truck born from years of dedication. Originating as a farm work truck in Georgia, Yancey inherited it from his father and transformed it into an award-winning masterpiece. Early into the build, the truck received a small block 350 engine and Turbo 350 transmission. He later partnered with various professionals, including Dermie Close of Close Fabrications, for extensive modifications like custom hood, fenders, and door rubbers, as well as relocating components such as the battery and air-conditioning hoses. The exterior gleams with a House of Kolor Sunset Pearl finish, executed by Dreamweaver Custom Paint. Successfully featured at multiple SEMA shows, the C10 boasts accolades including Runner-up for the Summit Racing Downtown Show and Shine Award. Yancey credits his faith and persistence through the 12-year build journey, establishing "Heaven Bound" as a heart-stopping showpiece.
