LS-Powered 1957 Chevy Drag Car
This 1957 Chevy Bel Air, originally purchased for just $100 by Mike Morris in 1966, is now a competitive drag car. Fitted with a stock 6.0L LS engine from a 2001 Chevy truck, it features a Comp cam and a Holley intake. The car also includes a Turbo 400 three-speed transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. With ladder bar suspension and wheel tubs to fit large tires, this setup results in a performance of high 10s in the quarter-mile. The car remains easy to drive and has reached speeds up to 117 mph.
