Hybrid Powertrain 1963 Buick Electra at SEMA
This 1963 Buick Electra, transformed by James Marsden with Ant Anstead and the Celebrity IOU: Joyride team, features a modern hybrid powertrain on a Karma Revero chassis. Showcased at the 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas, it's a one-of-a-kind build with a turbocharged three-cylinder BMW engine and a range of 61 miles on battery power. The project involved significant modifications, including carbon fiber accents to reduce weight and enhance aesthetics. It pays tribute to Will, Marsden's former brother-in-law, with a personalized touch honoring his family's history.
