TS-21 Turbine Powered BMW E30
Igor Negoda installed a TS-21 gas turbine starter, originally from a Russian military aircraft, into a BMW E30 sedan. The turbine produces 60 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with an output shaft spinning at 1,200 rpm, connected to the BMW transmission via an adapter plate.
