BMW E30 by Gemballa
Dominick Hyatt's BMW E30 Gemballa is a unique 1980s-style machine, characterized by its dramatically widened bodywork. Originally a Japan-based commission, this one-of-one widebody E30 was discovered at a vintage dealership in Pennsylvania. Gemballa, the renowned German tuning company, engineered the transformation with a 15-inch widebody kit designed to make the car stand out. The modifications required the installation of wider tires and included functional air vents and an extended fuel filler neck. Retaining its core as an E30 325i, the car is powered by the original M20B25 engine, enhanced with a more aggressive 274 camshaft. Interior alterations are minimal, with a MOMO steering wheel and shift knob enhancing the sporty feel without straying too far from the spartan origins. Despite its rarity, Hyatt actively drives and showcases the car, inviting others to share in its unique automotive history. This unique 1986 Gemballa E30 features a full one-piece fiberglass body kit and is powered by a tuned M20B25 engine. This was a special one-of-a-kind build made for a special order customer.
