1100hp M50-Powered BMW E30 Dragster
Daniel Schein's BMW E30 drag car, nicknamed 'Elvis,' is a formidable machine in the European drag scene. It's powered by a BMW M50 inline-six engine, heavily modified to produce 1,084 hp with a huge turbocharger and methanol injection. Retaining a five-speed gearbox, it uses BBS wheels with Hoosier slicks for traction and a parachute for braking. Despite packing race-ready hardware, it holds onto its E30 roots, achieving a best 1/4 mile time of 9.27 seconds at 162 mph at Santa Pod Raceway.
