1962 Austin Mini Truck by Ricky Ngo

Ricky Ngo's 1962 Austin Mini Truck is a tribute to his longstanding dream of owning this rare classic vehicle. Originally a workhorse for tradespeople, this Mini Truck maintains its vintage charm while incorporating tasteful modifications. Ngo transformed the Mini with 10-inch SSR wheels from Japan wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires, and enhanced the suspension with RED coil springs and a Hi-Low kit. The current 998cc engine, equipped with a stage one kit, HIF38 carb, LCB headers, and RC40 exhaust, produces 47 horsepower, offering a go-kart-like driving experience. The truck's functionality is complemented by upgraded Cooper S disc brakes in the front. Ricky uses the Mini both for his business and at car shows, enjoying its community appeal and historical significance.
