800hp Turbo LS-Powered AMC Pacer
This 1976 AMC Pacer has been transformed into a burnout machine boasting an impressive 800 horsepower, thanks to a turbocharged LS V8 engine. Built by Brian Hensley, the car features a fortified LS engine with new pistons, forged connecting rods, and a BTR Stage 2 turbo camshaft, managed by a Holley Terminator X Max EFI system. The power is channeled through a billet TH400 automatic transmission with a trans brake, sending the grunt to the ground through a Ford 9-inch rear end. The Pacer retains a stock appearance, adorned with 'Pit Boss' graphics and gold-themed details, designed to capture attention in the burnout pit. A full roll cage and RaceQuip seats with harnesses complete the stripped-down, purpose-built interior.
