Twin Turbo LS Swap 1979 Pontiac Trans Am
This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, built by Hoonigan Racing Mechanic Gregg Hamilton, features a twin-turbo LS engine swap. Originally equipped with a 403ci Oldsmobile V8, the Trans Am now sports a 5.3-liter LS engine with forged internals, a Holley Mid-Rise intake, and twin 68mm Garrett turbochargers. It produces approximately 500hp and uses a ZF six-speed manual gearbox. The car is equipped with QA1 suspension components, Corvette Z06 brakes, and custom side pipes. It embodies a pro touring style with wide arches and offers a balance of old-school cool and modern performance.
