Tesla-Swapped 1972 Plymouth Satellite EV Conversion
Kevin Erickson transformed a 1972 Plymouth Satellite into an EV masterpiece by swapping in a Tesla powertrain. The project, initiated as a challenge with support from Stealth EV, involved retaining rear-wheel drive for a classic muscle car feel. The build features a Ludicrous Tesla motor producing 636 horsepower, a custom coilover suspension, and a 100 kWh Tesla battery for approximately 300 miles of range. The project, dubbed 'Electrollite,' shines as an innovative merger of muscle car heritage with modern electric technology.
