
1360hp Palatov D2E EV Racer Shocks at High Voltage Experience
Cascadia Motion's Palatov D2E, equipped with a 1 megawatt powertrain producing 1360 horsepower, stunned attendees at the Holley High Voltage Experience 2022. Originally designed for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, this electric racer features a chromoly space frame chassis, a battery pack from EVDrive, and liquid-cooled inverters and motors. Despite being built for hill climbs, the D2E impressed on both the Sonoma Raceway track and the drag strip, reaching speeds up to 204 mph during testing.
