1984 Jeep CJ-7 by Erico Varela
This 1984 Jeep CJ-7 underwent a comprehensive three-year refurbishment starting in 2016, led by owner Erico Varela. The restoration included a full repaint in Arles Blue, installation of a Novak AX-15 five-speed manual transmission, and a rebuild of the 258ci inline-six engine with a 4.0-liter cylinder head. Modifications include a Clifford intake manifold, Weber carburetor, aluminum radiator, dual auxiliary cooling fans, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The chassis is lifted with 4" springs and Bilstein shocks, while black 15" steel wheels are fitted with 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires. Exterior features include a Bestop soft top, Smittybilt bumpers, LED lighting, and a Warn winch. The black interior features Corbeau seats, a Vintage Air heater, and a Kenwood-amplified aftermarket sound system.
