Diesel-Powered 1986 Jeep CJ-10A 4x4 Conversion
This 1986 Jeep CJ-10A was originally a two-wheel-drive aircraft tug that has been extensively modified for 4x4 use. It features a 3.2-liter Nissan SD33 diesel inline-six engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range twin-stick Dana 300 transfer case. The truck has been upgraded with powder-coated green and gray bodywork, an LJ Wrangler rear tub, 15-inch beadlock wheels with 36x12.5-inch Interco Super Swamper TSL SX tires, and a suspension lift. Modifications include a Painless Performance wiring harness, an aluminum radiator, a brush guard, a Smittybilt winch, and Corbeau seats. Stopping power is enhanced with disc brakes, and it features Dana 44 axles with Lockrite lockers and Chromoly axle shafts. Additional exterior modifications include rock sliders, retractable side steps, and LED lighting.
