559hp Turbocharged 2002 Ford Mustang Drift Build
This 2002 Ford Mustang, owned by Brandon Barry, has been transformed into a formidable drift machine. Originally a black GT automatic, it now sports a turbocharged 4.6L V8 cranking out 559 hp. Central to its drift capabilities is the T56 manual transmission swap and custom suspension components from Detroit Drifting Co. A flat gray wrap pays homage to the owner's Ford Focus RS. The build includes enhancements like an electric power steering pump and a dual-caliper rear brake setup with an ASD hydraulic handbrake. Combined with a reinforced rear end and drift-specific cagework, the Mustang has become a star at events like the Holley's Intergalactic Ford Festival.
