200MPH Blackbird X Dodge Challenger Breaks Records
The Blackbird X Dodge Challenger, driven by Allen Johnson, made history by breaking the 200 mph barrier in the NHRA Factory X class. Originally piloted by Geoff Turk, the car had undergone significant development including major chassis adjustments and engine tuning. Despite a major crash and subsequent rebuild, the team achieved their goal with a record run of 202.55 mph. The Challenger features a highly tuned Mopar engine and underwent numerous tests and modifications to optimize performance for drag racing competitions.
