Chevy V8-Powered 1937 Cord 812 Coupe
The 'Tetanus Cord,' initially a 1937 Cord 812 Westchester sedan, was transformed by British designer Andy Saunders into a custom art piece. Originally encountered in poor condition after being abandoned for decades, the car now boasts a two-tone gray coupe body with a distinctive blood red interior. Saunders implemented major body alterations, including wider wings, lengthened doors, and a lowered roof, integrating parts from a Volkswagen Beetle and a Jaguar Mk2. Under the iconic coffin nose, it features a powerful Chevrolet V8 engine.
